HR Generalist

Job Overview:

The HR Generalist serves as a strategic partner and operational extension of the CHRO, supporting the execution of key HR initiatives while ensuring compliance, consistency, and operational excellence across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of HR projects, processes, initiatives, software implementation, trainings, and surveys designed to strengthen HR operations, employee experience, and organizational consistency.
• Assist with creating, updating, and implementing HR policies, forms, and templates for all processes and procedures for the daily workflow of the HR department.
• Maintain HR documentation, compliance records, and audit readiness, as well as ensuring all HR systems are consistently up to date.
• Analyze data, HR metrics, and run reports to identify trends to provide recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with department heads and Director of HR on an ongoing basis to suggest, develop, and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Offer operational and leadership support as well as provide coverage for HR team members as needed.
• Research, draft, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor changes in federal, state, and local employment laws and implement policy and process updates to maintain compliance.
• Ensure timely responses to all inquiries and requests, with a commitment to addressing and resolving issues within 24 hours.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies, procedures, and the industry standards.
• Participate in mandatory meetings and perform other related duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.

Required Education, Experience, and Licenses:

• 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
• Degree in HR or Organizational Psychology, preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
