Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the facility’s compliance program.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure organizational adherence to federal, state, and accreditation standards.
- Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal reviews.
- Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Provide guidance and consultation to leadership regarding compliance-related issues.
- Identify barriers to compliance and implement corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with department leaders to monitor operational and clinical performance indicators.
- Promote a culture of ethical conduct and accountability.
- Ensure adherence to Hallmark’s Trauma-Informed Care initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with all disciplines involved in resident care.
- Prepare reports and present findings to executive leadership as needed.
- Support ongoing staff education regarding compliance standards and regulatory changes.
- Baccalaureate degree required.
- Advanced coursework in management preferred.
- Master’s degree in a human services field preferred.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated leadership and management experience preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a psychiatric setting required.
- Strong knowledge of mental health principles and psychiatric terminology preferred.
- Knowledge of adolescent development, childcare principles, and positive peer culture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines accurately.
- Ability to identify barriers and balance competing demands.
