Senior Accountant
Hallisey & D’Agostino, LLP – Wethersfield, CT
Established in 1972, Hallisey & D’Agostino, LLP is a full-service public accounting firm offering a wide array of accounting, tax, and advisory services to individuals and small to mid-size closely-held businesses located throughout Connecticut and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial statement audit, review, and compilation engagements (predominantly review and compilation)
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and other client deliverables
- Prepare business and individual income tax returns
- Maintain active communication with clients throughout the year
- Assist with business advisory services, tax planning, and ad hoc projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and research skills
- 2 years of public accounting experience, or other relevant business experience
- Proficiency in various computer applications including MS Office and audit/accounting software
- QuickBooks and tax preparation experience a plus
