What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at HalfSmoke?
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Wash kitchen dishes, equipment, and utensils
- Removes trash from within the restaurant area and disposes in appropriate container
- Sweeps and mops restaurant floors
- Cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries
- Assist intake and stocking of vendor deliveries
- Keeping the Manager informed of all property faults
- Sweeps and vacuums carpets and floor mats
- Polishes all brass items using designated cleaning agent and equipment
- Picks up and disposes in dumpster all trash from the parking lot and landscape area
- Assisting other employees as needed
- Previous restaurant experience required.
- Be able to work in loud environment for long periods of time.
- Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
- Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Dressed and ready to work 10 minutes before shift begins.
