The Kitchen Manager oversees coordinating and supervising a restaurant’s kitchen staff according to Butter Me Up standards. They run the kitchen as though it belongs to them. Their duties include, shift work, cooking, preparations, training and scheduling Cooks, performing quality control on food leaving the kitchen and ordering inventory to keep up with demand.

Essential Job Functions

• Supports Restaurant GM in achieving business goals.
• Takes ownership of all kitchen operations.
• Understands and tracks food ordering, inventory, production, and cooking of all dishes.
• Create great food and drink.
• Provide quality food and beverage to guest by adhering to all recipes and standards.
• Receives, verifies and properly stores food and ingredients.
• Supports ordering and inventory needs
• Respond and anticipates guest needs.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace throughout the operation.
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all aspects of food, beverages, and restaurant operations.
• Supports ware washing and cleaning of BOH spaces.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Maintains uniform and grooming standards for Butter Me Up.
• Takes responsibility for all cook job functions.

• Previous experience in supervisory role
• Previous experience within a customer-facing environment
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a food and beverage focused environment
• Certified in Food Safety and Allergens
