Key Responsibilities:
- Consultative Selling: Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their style, needs, and budget. Recommend furnishings and décor that align with their vision.
- Product Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of furniture collections, upholstery options, finishes, and customization features to confidently answer questions and provide valuable insights.
- Closing Sales: Utilize proven sales techniques to convert inquiries into sales, consistently meeting or exceeding individual and store-wide sales targets.
- Customer Service: Deliver a personalized shopping experience, building long-term relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction from initial consultation through delivery and follow-up.
- Showroom Maintenance: Help maintain showroom appearance by arranging furniture displays, ensuring product is well-presented, and keeping track of inventory.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with management and colleagues to stay informed about new product lines, promotions, and ongoing training initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Mandatory Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of successful, commission-based furniture sales experience in a retail showroom environment. Candidates without direct furniture sales experience will not be considered.
- Proven Sales Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPI metrics in a retail furniture setting.
- Strong Product Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of furniture styles, materials, and brands, as well as a willingness to stay current on industry trends.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A passion for delivering outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction at every step of the sales process.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, inventory management tools, and CRM software to track leads and follow-up actions.
