What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Talent (Director Track) position at Hale Global?
About You
- You know that hiring and developing talent is the most important work in any business. You want to learn from a zen-master of talent to become the best in the world.
- You've got real HR and people experience — roughly 5 to 8 years — and a track record of earning more responsibility along the way. You're ready for a much bigger role.
- You've handled people matters across more than one country — ideally the US plus EU markets like France and Germany. You know "global HR" means real operational experience, not a line on a résumé.
- You can set the strategy and do the work yourself. You're as comfortable building a plan as running a hard conversation.
- You're sharp. You take messy, complicated problems and get them down to what actually matters.
- You read people and situations well, and you bring an outside perspective with patience — not ego.
- You handle confidential and sensitive information the way a pro does: carefully, every time.
- You'd rather build the systems — hiring, onboarding, performance, development — than just keep the lights on.
- You're in the Denver area, or ready to be — you will be onsite at the Denver Tech Center at least 3days a week.
What We Offer
- A real path, fast. You'll start as a Senior Manager reporting to a VP. For the right person, we expect this role to grow into a Director seat within about 18 months — with a genuine path toward leading talent at the C-level.
- The chance to build a talent function, not inherit one.
- A front-row seat in AI infrastructure — one of the fastest-growing, highest-stakes parts of the economy.
- A leadership team that takes talent as seriously as you do.
- Competitive pay — $100,000 to $135,000 base at the Senior Manager level — plus benefits and a performance bonus.
What You'll Do
- Own how we find, hire, and keep great people across the company.
- Partner with executives and managers to drive the company's excellence standards all the way through the organization.
- Build the playbook — policies, processes, and the way things actually get done — clear, consistent, and built to scale.
- Run hiring end-to-end across teams, and make it fast without lowering the bar.
- Stand up real performance management: goals, honest feedback, and reviews that mean something.
- Build learning and development that actually grows people and future leaders.
- Make this a place people are proud to work at and reluctant to leave.
- Use real data and market benchmarks to make smart calls on pay, benefits, and engagement.
- Strengthen how we show up to candidates and in the market.
- Manage outside partners and vendors when it helps.
- Keep everything compliant and confidential — across every country we operate in.
- Build, coach, and lead a team — and hire and develop talent as you grow your own career.
