Travel: 25% OCONUS 


DESCRIPTION:
Halcyon Days Consulting, LLC (HDC) is a veteran small owned business that specializes in the design and engineering of Tactical Mission Networks (TMN). This is a unique opportunity to join a small and high-performing team committed to delivering cloud platforms for exciting missions.  

As Security Lead, you will oversee the full security lifecycle for information systems, guiding risk assessments, certification and accreditation, compliance with DoD/IC regulations, and ensuring continuous operation security posture at both customer sites and internal operations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Engage with leadership and clients to coordinate security architecture, policy compliance and remediation strategies. 
• Lead security exercises, readiness reviews, and tabletop drills. 
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with RMF, DoD, and IC guidelines.
• Evaluate and manage security configurations for systems, software, and hardware, including patching, scanning and vulnerability remediation. 
• Monitor, respond to, and document cyber threats, IAVAs, and security incidents across enterprise environments. 
• Administer access controls and authentication mechanisms while ensuring continuous improvement in information assurance practices. 

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Minimum 10 years of cyber/information security experience.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field preferred. 
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in RMF process, A&A toolsets and secure system operations.
• Proficiency in threat and vulnerability management. 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or IAM II 
• Experience managing accreditation packages for cross-domain solutions, cloud environments, or tactical systems. 
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with clients and leadership on security posture and risk. 

SALARY RANGE: 
$140,000-180,000 
This salary range is an hourly exempt (exempt from overtime) position. Benefits are provided in addition to salary range.
