Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential hazards or security risks
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring CPR or first aid procedures
• Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents as needed
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes

Skills

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military or related fields demonstrating strong situational awareness
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies
• Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies
• Ability to handle conflict calmly and professionally while ensuring safety for all parties involved
• Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring premises and identifying risks
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and collaborating with emergency responders
