Job Overview
Join our transportation team as a CDL Bus Driver, where you will be responsible for transporting passenger to and from their destinations. In this role, you will operate specialized buses designed to provide accessible transportation services for individuals with mobility challenges, including seniors, persons with disabilities, and those requiring assistance.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate paratransit buses in accordance with all traffic laws, transportation safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist passengers with disabilities or mobility challenges by providing wheelchair assistance and ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.
- Follow emergency response procedures for transportation incidents, including emergency stop procedures.
- Respond quickly and effectively to traffic changes or unexpected situations, demonstrating defensive driving techniques at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by managing passenger behavior, addressing inquiries professionally, and ensuring a positive transit experience for all riders.
Skills
- Proven experience in bus driving, including commercial driving or paratransit operation.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, transportation safety regulations, and emergency response procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to traffic changes while maintaining safety standards through defensive driving techniques.
Pay: $1,005.00 - $1,520.00 per week
