Hackley Community Care (HCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center proudly serving the residents of Muskegon County and surrounding areas. We are seeking motivated, compassionate individuals who are ready to train for a rewarding career as a Medical Assistant. As a Medical Assistant Trainee, you’ll receive hands-on learning and mentorship from experienced healthcare professionals while completing coursework through an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program.
Upon successful completion of the program, trainees are eligible to earn their Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential. Training and program costs are covered for those who complete the program and commit to a two-year service term with HCC.

What You'll Do
- Participate in online classes, assignments, and skills labs as part of an accredited MA program
- Learn and perform clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of experienced mentors
- Observe all health, safety, and infection control standards
- Engage professionally with patients and staff in a compassionate and respectful manner
- Receive and apply constructive feedback to strengthen skills and knowledge
- Demonstrate dependability, teamwork, and a strong commitment to patient care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and math
- Strong computer and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A growth mindset and passion for learning in a healthcare setting
- Prior experience or exposure to a medical or dental environment preferred
