What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Collect and document patient information accurately
- Assist providers during patient visits
- Coordinate care and support follow-up needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Support quality initiatives and organizational standards
Job Qualifications and Special Skills include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (RMA, CMA, CCMA, or equivalent credential)
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical knowledge appropriate to training
- Ability to work collaboratively and seek guidance when needed
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Accurate and timely documentation skills
- Understanding of age-specific patient care
- Basic computer proficiency
- Working knowledge of insurance types
