JOB SUMMARY
Provides clinical services to adults, children and youth referred for mental health/behavioral services under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager. Works collaboratively with the case manager to ensure the integration of services, Clients assessments of needs and strengths must be clearly documented and lead to specific treatment recommendations and is implemented effectively.
The incumbent will deliver five (5) or more hours of billable services to clients on a daily basis. Responsible for providing services and documentation that comply with Rule 132.20,119.20,115.20 of the Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code - MRO guidelines. HSI requires that billable services must be documented and submitted to your assigned Supervisor/Manager (Designee) on a daily basis."
QUALIFICATIONS
Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Counseling.
Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) preferred.
Develop IM CANS certified within the first 30 days of employment.
At least five (5) years of professional clinical experience in the areas of counseling and/or therapy.
Knowledge of basic concepts of assessment and planning for persons with mental illness and co-occurring disabilities, such as substance abuse. Familiarity with Federal, state and local guidelines regarding abuse and neglect reporting, Medicaid services, and other relevant policies and guidelines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal, problem-solving and time management skills.
