Habberstad Automotive Group is seeking a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Mobile Technician / Tow Truck Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist customers with roadside needs, transport vehicles safely, and provide basic on-site automotive assistance while representing our company professionally.
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to roadside assistance calls and provide mobile vehicle support.
- Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles safely between locations.
- Perform basic roadside services, including jump-starts, battery assistance, tire changes, and lockout assistance as qualified.
- Safely load, secure, and unload vehicles.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the tow truck.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, vehicle pickups, and deliveries.
- Communicate professionally with customers, service departments, and management.
- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable traffic and transportation regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous towing, roadside assistance, or automotive experience preferred.
- CDL may be required depending on the tow truck operated and applicable regulations.
- Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to safely operate a tow truck and handle vehicles.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical duties associated with vehicle recovery and roadside assistance.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
