Position Summary:
Habberstad is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our service team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and positive service experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Prepare service estimates and explain recommended repairs and maintenance
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service completion
- Communicate service status updates clearly and consistently to customers
- Promote additional maintenance services when appropriate
- Ensure all repair orders are completed accurately and in compliance with dealership standards
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and follow up as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic automotive knowledge and understanding of repair processes
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
