Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Database Administrator.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field and three years of experience as a Principal Database Administrator.
- Demonstrated expertise in Oracle RAC database administration and performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle Data Guard.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Define and implement standards for database design and performance.
- Provide expert-level support for complex database issues.
- Drive strategic database initiatives in support of business objectives globally.
- Design and implement database solutions, including migration strategies to cloud environments.
- Establish performance tuning standards and troubleshooting practices for complex systems.
- Automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
