The responsibilities of this role include engaging directly with customers to accurately enter and process incoming freight orders in a timely manner. This entails actively researching and resolving any questions or issues that may arise during the order process, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating and providing detailed reports regarding order status, delivery timelines, and any discrepancies. A background in customer service or operations is essential, with specific experience in logistics, shipping, or trucking companies preferred, to effectively address the unique challenges of this industry.
Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned)
- Schedule delivery/pick up appointments with vendors
- Attention to detail and able to multitask and keep up with emails
- Provide a strong level of customer service to internal and external customers
- Maintain Inbound and Outbound Schedules
- Work closely with shift management and the dispatch team to accomplish shift goals
- Report errors and/ or issues to appropriate member of leadership to ensure accuracy Participate in all training programs provided
- Performs all duties in a safe and timely manner.
- Manage your own work pace to accomplish all task within an 8-hour day
- Must be reliable and must be willing to work overtime when needed.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Must follow attendance and Punctuality policy. Consider absenteeism, punctuality, and adherence to specified lunch periods and break times.
- Good work ethic and can work well with others

Skills and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- 100% Committed to executing exceptional customer service and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ability to manage time and workload to accomplish all necessary task in a timely manner
- Strong ability to communicate concisely via email, phone conversation, and person to person
- Basic computer skills and data entry
- Basic math skills
- 6 months of Dispatch experience
- Bilingual is a preferred Spanish
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers.
- Experience preferred Basic math and reading skills necessary
- Detailed oriented with the ability to perform multiple task in fast moving environment Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.
