What You'll Do
You will handle service, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems across the DFW area, along with supporting startup and warranty work tied to our construction projects. This role involves diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, documenting system performance, and recommending solutions that improve system reliability and efficiency. You will work directly with customers, communicate findings clearly, and represent H&G Systems in a professional manner on every job site. This is a field-based role with dispatch from home and a mix of preventative maintenance, service calls, and repair work.

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime based on workload

What We're Looking For
You are a skilled technician who can diagnose issues, communicate clearly with customers, and manage your workload independently. You take pride in your work, stay organized, and represent the company well in the field.

• 5 years of experience servicing commercial and/or residential HVAC systems

• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and system layouts

• Experience performing preventative maintenance and documenting system performance

• Strong customer communication and service mindset

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls

• Comfortable working in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and varying weather conditions

• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds

• Experience with lifts (scissor/genie) and safe jobsite practices

• Basic proficiency with smartphones or tablets for service documentation

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

• HVAC technical school or formal training program
