Job Responsibilities:
- Utilizing Syteline (ERP System) to enter product specifications, including dimensions of ODs, lengths, hole configurations, flutes, steps, and other finite details. Ensure specifications meet technical specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Respond to sales and customer Request for Quote (RFQ) by providing formal quotes within an established timeline of four hours or less.
- Communicate daily with the technical manager, contract review and scheduling teams, plant floor operators, salesperson and customers to ensure questions and concerns are resolved for any updates to quotes.
- Interact with manufacturing to stay current on best practices and capabilities of the organization to mitigate risk of incorrect information at quoting stage.
- Ensure finalized quote status with the sales team to determine the status and discuss any changes or customer requests.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate degree in business or related field is preferred.
- One year manufacturing experience required.
- Knowledge of database software, internet software, manufacturing software, order processing systems, spreadsheets, quality and work processing required
- Specific knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks and ERP software preferred
