Job Responsibilities:
- Working with carbide materials supplied by our press and extrusion operations…
- Carefully read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Transfer specifications to proper machine set up and/or program application.
- Set up and operate various manual and CNC machines. Follow precise and detailed procedures to ensure the ability to meet tight tolerances and minimize risk of defects.
- Carefully monitor a work cell of cutting, turning, milling, and grinding machines with a range of technology and automation.
- Recommend and make necessary program adjustments directly at the machine (G&M Codes) and/or at CAD/CAM software level.
- Utilize precise measuring equipment such as comparators, calipers, and micrometers to gauge parts.
- Be part of our pursuit to always improve. Provide your ideas and expertise to identify opportunities to improve productivity, product quality, and decrease down-time.
- Safety is always a top priority. Help identify any hazards or ergonomic challenges, and potential corrections. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- We welcome experience with precision CNC machining operations.
- We also welcome trainees. Come ready to learn and we will train you.
