What are the responsibilities and job description for the MEMS Process Engineer position at Gyga Force?
This is a MEMS process role in a fabrication environment—not a characterization lab, not a simulation-heavy position, and not a tool vendor role.
The company is a Silicon Valley microfabrication provider supporting both commercial and advanced MEMS programs. You’ll be working directly on device builds, process flows, and yield improvement, with real ownership over how things are made.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing:
- Developing MEMS fabrication processes (lithography, etch, deposition, bonding)
- Running experiments and iterating on process recipes
- Working on device builds from concept through production
- Debugging process issues and improving yield
- Documenting flows and contributing to scalable manufacturing processes
- Collaborating with design, fab, and production teams
What They’re Looking For:
- Strong hands-on MEMS or semiconductor process experience (~5 years)
- Experience working in a cleanroom / fab environment
- Comfortable with mask layout tools (KLayout, L-Edit, etc.)
- Background in real fabrication—not just analysis or support
Nice to Have:
- SPC / DOE experience
- Materials characterization exposure
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers
Perks:
- Competitive base
- Full health coverage
- Unlimited PTO
- Paid holidays
- Stable, weekday schedule
If you want to actually work on fabrication and own process development—not just observe or support it—this is a strong opportunity.
