The QA Receiving Inspector is responsible for reviewing incoming products and materials in various stages of manufacturing such as raw, pre and post processing, pre and post machining, and pre and post finishing to ensure they meet the company and customer’s requirements.
Duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests and identifying defects. Requires understanding of prints, GD&T principles, and common measurement methods, including non-contact inspection to discern part/product quality.

Qualifications
Role & Qualifications
- Physically and manually inspects products and dimensional characteristics and follows SOP’s and Work Instructions regarding non-conformances.
- Experience with reading drawings and completing inspection records per specifications.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a quality department or conducting quality inspections.
- Assist QA Management Team in determining root causes for nonconformances.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, etc.
- Experience with AQL statistical analysis of inspection processes.
- Experience with Military standards and ISO 9000.
- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to lift minimum 25 lbs.
- Good work ethic.
