What are the responsibilities and job description for the 019650 TRADES SPECIALIST II position at gvltec?
- Assist in the maintenance of college property to include but not limited to turf, trees, shrubs and other plant material by cutting/mowing, trimming, pruning, and other means necessary to maintain the health and appearance of the college's turf and ornamental plants and trees. Apply fertilizer, pre-emergent herbicide and other herbicides and insecticides as directed.
- Participate in college jobs/projects to include but not limited to landscaping, parking lots and roadway, equipment maintenance, building renovations, etc.
- Participate in repairs to the college's irrigation system as well as repairs to other underground utilities
- Remove weeds, litter, debris, and trash from campus grounds and other college property daily.
- Perform other duties related to grounds maintenance and building maintenance as assigned by supervisor, grounds manager or building maintenance managers.
- Assist as necessary with college events, projects and other duties and assigned by supervisor.
