Senior Trades (Welder A, Sr. Millwright, Fabrication Specialist)
Reports To: Foreman or Superintendent Experience: 5 years
Role Summary
Provides advanced technical execution and problem-solving while elevating crew quality.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform complex layout, spooling, and fabrication
- Resolve constructability issues
- Maintain applicable certifications
- Support execution planning
Pay Band
- Negotiable (Hourly Overtime)
- Certification pay bumps (CWI, MedGas, etc.)
Performance Expectations (Measurable)
Quality: Rework rate- 2% Execution: Complex scopes pass inspection
- 95% on first review
- Schedule: No delays attributable to workmanship
Leadership Expectations (Measurable)
- Serves as technical lead on assigned scopes
- Actively supports Journeymen skill development
- Recognized by Foreman/Superintendent as a problem solver
