What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Inspector position at Guy Roofing?
The Field Inspector is responsible for inspections, documentation, and maintaining correct and accurate records for estimators.
Responsibilities:
- Handle first party residential and commercial property claims
- Complete field inspections of residential and commercial property to include documentation, photos, estimates and scopes
- Investigate all facts relevant to claim to determine damages, coverage, liability, etc. for a variety of residential and commercial policies
- Practice professional customer service and communication skills always
- Compute calculations such as square footage and distance
- Respond to telephone and electronic communications.
- Perform word processing, photocopying, faxing, data entry, scanning, and other administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Good communications skills and professional presentation.
- Problem solving approach to daily duties.
- Able to organize, plan, and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Great attention to detail and stress tolerance.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of experience handling insurance claims
- General knowledge of construction
- Must have active and proper state adjuster licensing.
- Must be able to travel Nationwide via company vehicle, plane, etc.
