Commercial Roofer

Position Summary:

The Commercial Roofer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on commercial properties. This role requires knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and safety practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and replace various commercial roofing systems (including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and builtup roofs).
• Responsible for loading/unloading materials from/to roof.
• Installing commercial roof systems based on supervisor direction which may include removal of existing.
• Conducting inspections of roofs to identify potential problems such as leaks or damage and recommending repairs.
• Installing gutters, downspouts, and exterior drainage devices on roofs to prevent water damage to walls and floors below.
• Must follow all OSHA and Guy Roofing Safety practices/policies and attend all required safety training.
• Must follow all Guy Roofing company policies and procedures.
• Must use all required safety equipment on jobsite.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of commercial roofing experience preferred
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems and installation methods.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license(a plus).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
