BDC Manager

The BDC Manager manages all activities of the BDC representatives including establishing goals, monitoring progress, training, and performance. Maximize effectiveness of team and enhance profitability of the company by producing qualified leads while working with team toward a set of agreed upon targets, goals and benchmarks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors productivity of BDC Representatives and generates activity reports.
• Responsible for developing and updating conversation guidelines for Inside Sales Representative’s use and evaluating results obtained from use of those guidelines.
• Monitor individual, team and results to identify and act on both positive and negative performance trends to ensure attainment of revenue goals and performance targets.
• Manage, lead, motivate and evaluate Inside BDC Representatives including training staff on proper phone etiquette and how to handle phone calls.
• Monitors calls to observe employee demeanor, technical accuracy and conformity to company policies.
• Establish performance metrics for Inside Sales Representative team and evaluate performance of individuals based on those metrics.
• Develop processes and procedures that focus on continuous improvement of operations.
• Provides communication and follow up to ensure representatives are fully informed of all new information related to products, procedures, customer needs and company related issues, changes or actions.
• Establish benchmarks and quality standards for Inside Sales Representative team as well as processes for identifying progress toward attaining those benchmarks and standards.
• Manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the department.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 3 years’ experience
• Associate Degree in Business a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of computer skills and MS Office suite
• Building and Construction knowledge contracts involved in the construction or repair of roofs a plus
• Good communication skills and professional personal presentation
• Must possess problem solving approach to daily duties
• Able to organize, plan, and coordinate multiple tasks
• Great attention to detail and stress tolerance
• Should be honest, respectful, and trustworthy
• Should be flexible and possess cultural awareness
• Must possess accuracy and attention to detail
