Salesforce Solution Architect

Gurunanda is looking for a hands-on Salesforce Solution Architect (Sales & Service Cloud) to join our consulting practice. You'll be the technical anchor for our Salesforce engagements — designing scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, leading clients through discovery and architecture workshops, and staying close enough to the build to guide developers, unblock delivery, and keep quality high from kickoff to go-live.

This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable in front of a client whiteboard and inside an Apex class — someone who can set the architectural direction and roll up their sleeves when the project needs it.

Architecture & Solution Design

• Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, aligned to client business objectives and Salesforce best practices/Well-Architected principles
• Own the data model, sharing/security model, and integration architecture for each engagement
• Produce and maintain architecture artifacts: solution design documents, data models, integration designs, security frameworks, and process/automation flows

Client & Delivery Leadership

• Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and technical deep-dives with client stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and clear implementation plans
• Support estimation, sprint planning, deployment planning, and hands-on resolution of technical blockers throughout the project lifecycle — from discovery through production support

Integration & Platform Engineering

• Design and oversee integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, event-driven patterns, and middleware (MuleSoft or equivalent)
• Apply enterprise integration patterns for multi-system, multi-cloud landscapes

Team Leadership

• Mentor developers and consultants; set and enforce coding/development standards
• Lead design and code reviews; ensure solutions are governed, documented, and built for scale
• Stay hands-on with declarative and programmatic development — Flow, Apex, LWC, SOQL, and automation tooling — when delivery timelines or team needs require it

• 7 years of Salesforce implementation experience
• 3 years working as a Salesforce Solution Architect or Technical Architect
• Deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture: data modeling, security architecture, sharing models, and application design
• Strong hands-on skills in Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, REST APIs, and modern CI/CD practices
• A track record of leading enterprise Salesforce implementations from discovery through go-live
• Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills — you can hold the room in an architecture workshop and hold your own in a code review

• Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) credential
• Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration/iPaaS platforms
• Background in a consulting or professional services environment
• Exposure to additional Salesforce clouds — Experience Cloud, Field Service, Financial Services Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, OmniStudio
