Chief Financial Officer

Position Summary

GuruNanda LLC, a rapidly growing Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company specializing in oral care, wellness, personal care, and health products, is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to lead the company’s financial strategy and operations. The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, with responsibility for financial planning, accounting, treasury, tax, compliance, banking relationships, international operations, and long-term business growth.

The ideal candidate is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA) from India, with significant leadership experience in CPG, manufacturing, distribution, retail, e-commerce, and high-growth organizations.

Key Responsibilities

·  Lead the company’s financial strategy, annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling.

·  Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive leadership team on profitability, investments, financing, expansion, and risk.

·  Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, cash flow, tax, audit, banking, and internal controls.

·  Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

·  Develop executive dashboards, financial KPIs, and profitability reporting by product, customer, channel, and business unit.

·  Optimize working capital, inventory investment, gross margin, manufacturing costs, and supply chain performance.

·  Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, capital allocation, and financing initiatives.

·  Oversee international finance matters, including foreign exchange, transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and global compliance.

·  Evaluate acquisitions, investments, strategic partnerships, and other growth opportunities.

·  Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Required Qualifications

·  Certified Public Accountant (CPA), United States - required.

·  Chartered Accountant (CA), India - required.

·  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or master’s degree preferred.

·  15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 7 years in a CFO, VP Finance, or senior controllership role.

·  Demonstrated experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.

·  Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, corporate taxation, treasury, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and internal controls.

·  Experience with manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, distribution, and international supply chains.

·  Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.

·  Advanced financial modeling, analytics, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Experience

·  Experience supporting rapid growth, organizational transformation, mergers and acquisitions, or private equity-backed businesses.

·  Experience with major retailers, Amazon, omnichannel distribution, and consumer product margin management.

·  Knowledge of FDA-regulated consumer products and related inventory and compliance controls.

·  Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Pay Range: $160,000 l $180,000 Annually
