Job Summary:
Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Kids Club Attendants to assist in providing a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children in our seasonal Kids Club program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a positive attitude, and the ability to lead and supervise a variety of activities.
Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Kids Club Attendants to assist in providing a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children in our seasonal Kids Club program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a positive attitude, and the ability to lead and supervise a variety of activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and actively engage with children in a structured, safe, and entertaining environment.
- Assist in organizing and leading daily activities, including arts & crafts, games, storytelling, and outdoor play.
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families.
- Monitor children’s behavior and respond appropriately to any concerns or conflicts.
- Set up, clean, and organize activity areas before and after sessions.
- Assist with sign-in/sign-out procedures and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Support the Kids Club Manager in daily operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, preferred.
- Energetic, patient, and responsible.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage with children for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to participate in outdoor activities, including beach and poolside games.
Compensation & Schedule:
- $22 per hour
- June 29-August 30
- 9 AM- 4 PM
