Job Summary
At Gummynology, we make high-quality gummies, and keeping our production equipment and facility running smoothly is essential to our success! We are seeking a versatile, hands-on Maintenance Worker to take ownership of all phases of facility and equipment maintenance across our plant.
In this all-encompassing role, you will be responsible for mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance on production equipment, basic facility repairs, and keeping our production lines operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on processing and packaging machinery (cookers, depositors, cooling tunnels, oiling/sanding drums, bottle fill lines, and conveyors).
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime on the plant floor.
- Facility Operations & Upkeep: Handle general facility repairs, including basic plumbing, building maintenance, lighting, HVAC filter changes, and minor wall/floor fixes.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program: Execute scheduled PM plans, log all completed work orders accurately, and order necessary spare parts and supplies.
- cGMP & Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work complies with strict dietary supplement/food safety standards (cGMP/FDA guidelines), maintaining clean and sanitary work practices in processing environments.
- Tool & Work Area Management: Maintain tools, shop equipment, and spare parts inventory in an organized and safe manner.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3 years of multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills (gears, pumps, motors, bearings, chains, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems).
- Basic industrial electrical knowledge (wiring, switches, motors, sensors).
- Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Education & Certifications: High school diploma or GED required; trade school certification or technical degree is a plus.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety (Lockout/Tagout, PPE) and hygiene protocols.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
