Audiology Assistant – Gulf Gate Hearing

We are seeking a detail-oriented Audiology Assistant to support patient care, assist with hearing aid cleanings, phone pairing, troubleshooting, and keep clinical flow running smoothly. Primary Responsibilities
Patient Experience
- Warmly greet every patient and set a calm, confident tone
- Prepare patients for testing (intake, otoscopy readiness, history review)
- Teach patients care & maintenance of devices (cleaning, wax guards, pairing phones, app usage)
- Perform “quick clean” appointments for existing patients
Clinical Support
- Prepare exam rooms at start of day patient-to-patient
- Assist providers during fittings and follow-ups
- Troubleshoot routine hearing aid issues (connectivity, wax, domes, chargers, app log-ins)
- Maintain an organized, clean, efficient clinical flow
Orders / Inventory
- Receive, log, and track patient orders from placed → received → delivered
- Maintain stock of domes, receivers, filters, chargers, batteries
- Maintain loaner inventory / accessories
- Communicate order ETA status to patients
Administrative
- Schedule & confirm appointments
- Document all patient interactions in our software
- Answer phones with warmth, confidence, and professionalism
- Support billing/check-in workflow as assigned
Requirements
- Extremely detail-oriented - track orders precisely
- Organized, calm, reliable
- Tech-comfortable (iPhone/Android/Bluetooth/apps)
- Strong communicator -verbal written
- Healthcare, dental, optical, or specialty-retail experience is beneficial but not required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
