Pizza Cook

Calling all pizza lovers! We’re looking for a new team member in our Great Barrington store to help create and sell our famous pies. If you love a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, have a strong attention to detail, and love working with customers, this could be a great fit for you.

At least one year of previous food service experience required.

Schedule: Mix of shifts, weekends required.

Pay Range: Up to $21.00/hr, commensurate with experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely and take direction from the Lead Pizza Supervisor
• Prepare both Guido’s specialty pizzas and custom orders
• Take customer orders in person and over the phone
• Bake a variety of doughs including hand stretched, sourdough, and gluten free
• Make a variety of sauces including tomato, cream, and pesto
• Chop and prepare toppings
• Maintain a clean workstation

Key Skills Required

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
• Effective time management skills
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow team members, customers, and vendors
• Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards
