Position Summary
A service technician is a skilled professional who installs, maintains, and repairs equipment and machinery. Assists in the daily upkeep and repair of facility operations. Working under the direct supervision of experienced technicians or the Facilities Manager, this role is a foundational opportunity to learn trade skills, diagnose mechanical faults, and ensure a safe, functional working environment. He/She is responsible for diagnosing malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- General Repairs - Change oil, change tires and repair flat tires.
- Troubleshooting – help diagnose basic mechanical issues and determine when to escalate to the next level
- Facility Upkeep – Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the ground and common areas.
- Assist with basic structural repairs
- Picking up parts/Delivering Parts
- Receiving, unpacking, and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of vehicle repair and demonstrates hand-on job experience
- Ability to communicate calmly and effectively
- Ability to use power and hand tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read service and repair manuals.
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting information
- Must be able to speak, write and communicate in English

Physical Requirements:
The job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing. significant physical strength and stamina. Ability to lift and pull at least 50 lbs. Good hearing and vision are required. Ability to lift oil and air filters and remove and replace them.
Salary : $51,420 - $69,609
