RN labor and Delivery

Job Summary

Title: RN l&D
Location: Fullerton, CA
Shift: 3 x 12 hour Nights
Travel Pay: $2900/wk
Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs continuously during labor using advanced electronic fetal monitoring systems.
• Assist with labor management, including administering medications such as epidurals and oxytocin under physician supervision.
• Perform thorough physical assessments of patients, including cervical examinations and progress evaluations.
• Support patients through labor and delivery processes, providing emotional reassurance and education.

Qualifications

• AWHONN IS A HARDSTOP, MUST HAVE A PASS**
• **STERILE VAGINAL EXAMS AND TRIAGE HARD STOP REQUIREMENTS, DO NOT SCREEN OR PASS**
• **MUST HAVE EXPERT EXPERIENCE AND BE ABLE TO PERFORM STERILE VAGINAL EXAMS INDEPENDENTLY W/O SUPERVISION**
• **EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
• Years of experience REQ: 2 - Can consider under 2 years depending on experience,
• 1.5 years hard stop
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Weekend REQ: Every other, may exceed to meet unit need
• Certs REQ: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP
• Is on-call REQ?: No
• Will this traveler need to float between like units? Yes, to mother baby
• Open to accommodating block schedule? Per manager discretion
• Pending License accepted: No

Pay: $2,800.00 - $2,900.00 per week
