This role is responsible for collecting and preparing quality blood specimens for laboratory testing while following established procedures and safety standards.The PSR builds trust with patients by clearly explaining procedures and performing venipuncture in a safe, accurate, and professional manner. Assignments may be in a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisorMaintain a safe and professional work environmentPerform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established proceduresVerify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures post-venipuncture to confirm correct specimen labelingMaintain required records and documentation with high attention to detailDemonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive professional imageAdapt to assignments at multiple locations as business needs dictateRequired Skills & QualificationsMinimum 2–3 years of phlebotomy experienceAbility to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collectionsStrong decision-making skills and sound judgmentSuperior customer focus with clear and professional communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume settingWillingness to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as requiredTraining locations may vary based on trainer availabilityAdditional RequirementsReliable transportation is required (bus, Uber, or rideshare is not considered reliable transportation)Must be punctual, available for all scheduled shifts, and able to stay for the full shiftExcessive absenteeism or tardiness is not tolerated and may result in terminationValid driver’s license and clean driving record required if applicableBenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the CompanyA leading provider of diagnostic information services empowering healthier lives through advanced diagnostics and data-driven insights.
