This role requires advanced phlebotomy expertise, strong customer-facing skills, and the ability to support high-volume and complex clinical environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and specimen collection, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary drawsPrepare and process specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established proceduresProvide float coverage across PSC, IOP, mobile, long-term care, and physician office settingsEnsure daily operational activities are completed accurately and on timeCreate a professional and compassionate patient experience while maintaining confidentiality and data accuracyAct as a lead resource on site when required, supporting PSRs and phlebotomy staffServe as a coach, mentor, and onboarding resource for new employeesAct as point of contact for on-site staff and provide feedback to supervisorsSupport high-complexity and high-volume practices requiring advanced phlebotomy and customer service skillsCollaborate with internal partners including Sales, Lab Services, IT, Billing, and LogisticsRequired Skills & Qualifications5 years of phlebotomy experience required (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections)Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service and patient interaction skillsAbility to work independently and adapt quickly across locationsKeyboarding and data entry proficiencyEducation & ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredMedical assistant or paramedic training preferredPhlebotomy certification preferred (required only in CA, NV, and WA)Minimum 3 years experience in a PSC/IOP environment preferredCustomer service experience in a retail or service environment preferredBenefitsMedical InsuranceVision InsuranceDental Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanAbout the CompanyOur client is a leading provider of diagnostic information services, leveraging one of the world’s largest clinical laboratory databases to empower healthier lives.
