Job Summary
As an Electronic Tester, you will work on the production test floor to perform electrical testing of semiconductors using manual and automated equipment. This role requires close attention to detail, adaptability to daily changes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-noise manufacturing environment. You will handle semiconductors, follow strict documentation procedures, and support engineering work orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate test equipment per work instructions to test semiconductors.
- Perform counting, visual inspections, and parameter verification.
- Complete engineering work orders as assigned.
- Enter and track production transactions in Camstar system.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Refill nitrogen tanks and perform basic workstation upkeep.
- Inspect output for accuracy and ensure compliance with production requirements.
Required Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred in semiconductor or electronics testing.
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic tools.
- Ability to read/write English and perform basic math.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Prior experience handling semiconductors under a microscope.
- Familiarity with ISO/quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow documentation and record pass/fail parameters.
- Patience and adaptability during training and high-volume production.
- Integrity, good judgment, and teamwork ability.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience in a production test environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and ask questions proactively.
Additional Skills
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and push equipment over 100 lbs.
- Endurance for 5–6 hours without breaks.
- Frequent standing, occasional walking, bending, and twisting.
- Strong hand coordination for manipulation, power grasping, and precision tasks.
