This role partners closely with internal IT and Electric Operations stakeholders to deliver new use cases, support platform upgrades, resolve production issues, and build long-term internal capability through hands-on training and knowledge transfer.Key ResponsibilitiesBentley APM Technical LeadershipProvide hands-on configuration and technical leadership within Bentley APM, including data models, rules/logic, workflows, health and risk frameworks, dashboards, and reportingDesign and implement new Bentley APM solutions aligned to Electric Operations asset and maintenance processesLead and support Bentley APM release upgrades, including impact analysis, configuration updates, regression testing, and go-live supportTroubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend performance and stability improvementsPartner with internal IT and operations teams to translate business requirements into Bentley APM configurations and technical designsDevelop and maintain technical documentation including configuration guides, runbooks, admin SOPs, and upgrade notesTraining & UpskillingDevelop and deliver structured training programs for administrators, analysts, support engineers, and power usersLead hands-on workshops covering configuration, troubleshooting, upgrade readiness, and best practicesCreate reusable training materials such as slide decks, exercises, checklists, and “how-to” guidesCoach internal teams through pairing and real-world execution to ensure long-term knowledge transferRequired QualificationsRequiredProven experience as a Bentley APM Subject Matter Expert with multiple implementations and/or significant production support experienceStrong technical depth in Bentley APM configuration, troubleshooting, environment support, and release upgradesExperience working in a utility environment (electric preferred)Strong understanding of asset management and maintenance processesPreferredSAP exposure, including integration touchpoints and work management conceptsExperience with integrations and data flows (APIs, ETL, data warehouses/lakes, reporting tools) within an APM contextEquipment & Work EnvironmentThis position requires a laptopInterim solution for delays may include Virtual Desktop access using a personal or supplier-provided deviceHybrid work model with onsite presence required at least once per weekBenefitsMedical InsuranceVision InsuranceDental Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanAbout the CompanyOur client is a leading natural gas and electric energy company serving millions of customers across the United States.
