Harnessing Technician –Broomfield, Colorado2 month contract$50HR-$60HR (Flexible based on experience) We are seeking a highly skilled Harnessing Technician to support the fabrication, assembly, and integration of spacecraft wiring harnesses and related electrical components. The ideal candidate brings recent, hands-on harnessing experience and is comfortable working with extremely fine-gauge wire, precision soldering, and space-grade workmanship standards. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of flight and non-flight hardware used in advanced space systems. Key Responsibilities Build, route, and assemble space-grade wiring harnesses using 28 AWG or smaller conductors with high precision and workmanship.Perform hand soldering of electrical components—including solder cups and connectors—per aerospace-quality standards. (PCB soldering not required.)Interpret and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and build instructions to ensure accurate harness configuration and installation.Apply IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards during all fabrication tasks; SPACE Addendum experience or certification strongly preferred.Conduct torqueing, crimping, stripping, staking, and termination of components using approved aerospace tools and procedures.Ensure proper labeling, continuity testing, insulation resistance checks, and quality inspections of harness assemblies.Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and integration teams to resolve build issues and ensure compliance with flight hardware specifications.Maintain cleanroom or controlled-environment practices as required for space hardware production.Document work performed and update manufacturing execution systems (MES) or build logs for traceability and compliance.
