What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Services Engineer position at GTN Technical Staffing?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complete programming to implement solutions, calibration and adjustment process tasks .
• Identify and apply technical solutions to problems or incidents arising during the after-sales services or commissioning process to guarantee the performance of the equipment.
• Develop the technical contents necessary for manuals including control-operation, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance. Carry out final customer training for the correct machine operation and the adequate use of manuals
• Practices thorough records-keeping and actively maintains project notebooks.
• Comply with company policies and meet performance expectations established by your supervisor.
• Communicates pertinent project data and information to the project coordinator.
REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
1. Must be US Citizen or US Person (permanent Resident with a Green Card).
2. Experience with CNC Software Siemens Sinumerik – Sinumerik Operate.
3. Experience with PLC Software Siemens TIA Portal V15.
4. Experience using CNC & PLC Software for troubleshooting alarms and know how to trace alarms to find root cause.
5. Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings.
6. Ability to re-build cables connectors like ethernet, Profibus, power cables, Harting connectors
7. Experience with the alignment of a 5-axis cnc machine with the help of a Renishaw laser interferometer, granites and dial indicator or with a laser tracker.
8. Ability to perform disassembly, replacement and adjustment of mechanical components.
9. Ability to replace plug and play modules.
10. Experience with C programming with Visual Studio code.
11. Ability to work with database SQL Server Management Studio.
Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
