About the Position: Participates as a member of a team tasked with the design, development, testing and management of automation projects mandated by the Deputy Secretary of Defense.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) performing research and analysis on transportation management systems; 2) supporting the design, testing, and deployment of automated transportation projects; 3) evaluating transportation system processes to ensure compliance with established regulations; AND 4) applying transportation policies and industry standards to resolve operational issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
