Retail Staff Pharmacist – Full-Time (Day Shift)

Summary:
Seeking a licensed Retail Staff Pharmacist to provide safe and effective pharmaceutical care in a retail and hospital setting. The role includes dispensing medications, counseling patients, collaborating with healthcare providers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting long-term care pharmacy services.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school
- Current Nebraska Pharmacist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- PharmD preferred
- 3 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions
- Counsel patients on medication use and safety
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on medication therapy
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and HIPAA regulations
- Maintain medication inventory and proper storage
- Answer medication-related questions from patients and providers
- Provide monthly consulting services to long-term care facilities
- Assist with budgeting, documentation, and mentoring pharmacy students as needed
