Job Description |
This position is for a senior-level Programmer with 8 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, including COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) solutions—primarily vendor-hosted platforms. The Programmer will work within an Oracle database environment and serve as a core member of a team of technology professionals supporting agency applications and data services. The role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database structures, PL/SQL code, and data integrations that enable secure, efficient, and accurate data flow across assigned systems. This includes active participation in both project and maintenance activities, providing technical leadership for data-related tasks such as data modeling, ETL development, and integration of agency-specific data into vendor-hosted solutions. The individual will collaborate closely with Data Architects, Database Administrators, application support staff, and vendors to create, test, deploy, and optimize data structures and processes. A high degree of technical proficiency, problem-solving ability, and independent judgment is expected. The position may report to a project lead, project manager, or manager.
