Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a travel contract basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of LPN experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and healthcare needs.
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
Requirements:
- Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to new clinical settings and workflows.
- Travel experience preferred but not required.
Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
