Principal Software Engineer
Remote: $200 - 225K base bonus
DTC Consumer products company is hiring for a Principal Software Engineer (Front & Backend) to own the architecture and performance of their customer-facing e-commerce. This is a senior IC mentor role reporting into engineering leadership — not a feature-factory position. The expectation is full ownership: the stack, Core Web Vitals, headless CMS layer, and customer experience at the code level.

Ideal background:
✔ 8–12 years, full stack — equal frontend and backend depth ✔ TypeScript across the full stack (frontend and backend) ✔ Launched or rebuilt a production headless/composable storefront ✔ AWS backend experience ✔ Actually moved Core Web Vitals metrics — ownership, not just awareness ✔ DTC and/or B2B e-commerce experience a plus ✔ Subscription brands a plus
Other:
✔ Must have active Green Card or US Citizenship without exception ✔ Must live in the United States ✔ This is a direct full-time job
