The GS 13 salary range starts at $106,437 per year. Salary is dependent upon duty location.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience: Experience in creating vehicle reports (i e., accident, repairs agreements, estimates) to analyze cost; Utilizing automated data systems to produce data on operational metrics (including vehicle maintenance cost); Providing technical guidance on fleet management programs, policies, and initiatives for safety.

The Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) provides subject matter expertise for office of fleet management, fleet vehicle service center, maintenance & accident management division, mainternance & repair, and vendor management section.
- Lead analysis of national vendor performance across maintenance, repair, towing, glass, and related services, using data to improve program performance and advance fleet operational goals. Applies qualitative and quantitative methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of vendor networks, contract compliance, pricing models, service delivery outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics tied to service quality and cost-competitiveness, and produce market intelligence reports analyzing repair industry trends and pricing fluctuations.
- Provide authoritative guidance on vendor management and fleet maintenance standards, researches complex issues, and assesses vendor risk (financial stability, service reliability, regulatory compliance).
- Develop and maintain internal and vendor-facing guidance, procedures, and best-practice tools/templates related to vendors, and designs improvements to vendor management processes.
- Collaborates closely with internal fleet offices, including Maintenance & Repair, Accident Management, Compliance, and Customer Service Fleet Center, to ensure vendor networks meet operational needs and customer expectations.
Salary : $106,437
