This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for an operator ready to build the core engine of a high-growth organization at the heart of the mobility revolution.
Backed by prestigious global investors including Sequoia Capital, Upway is scaling its US footprint and looking for an execution-focused leader to join the team at the New York UpCenter in Brooklyn.
As the Central Operations Manager US, you will:
- Scale Subscriptions: Take full end-to-end ownership of the US subscription program, scaling it by 20x by 2027.
- Drive the Non-Electric Bike Initiative: Own, run, and scale the logistics and sourcing pipeline to process.
- Expand Revenues: Launch and manage new services like maintenance plans with external partners.
- Manage Physical Supply Chain: Support local UpCenter Leads with critical cost-reduction initiatives focused on packaging and spare parts inventory.
- Drive with Data: Dive deep into various operational metrics to identify root causes, reverse-engineer solutions, and optimize financial efficiency.
Who We Are Looking For

- Experience & Ambition: 1–3 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Consulting, or an equivalent fast-paced environment.
- Academic Background: A strong academic foundation in engineering, finance, business, or a similar quantitative discipline.
- The Startup Mindset: A strong bias for action, high judgment, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. You thrive in unstructured environments and turn scrappy processes (like Google Sheets and Zapier) into productized systems.
- Industry Alignment: A genuine passion or interest in the cycling and sustainable mobility industry is highly preferred.
