About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Dual Language Caregiver (English/Spanish) to join our team in Angier, NC.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or state equivalency
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or Creole, as applicable) required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with individuals of diverse background
Responsibilities:
- Follow policies, procedures and guidelines described in Grow Early Learning content area manuals, Child Care Licensing and OHS Requirements. Adhere to and practice Grow Early Learning Positive Guidance Policy.
- Closely supervise and maintain awareness of children at all times.
- Under the guidance of the teacher/teacher assistant, use Grow Early Learning School Readiness goals to plan and implement curriculum activities and experiences for children daily on the appropriate lesson plan.
- Assist teacher/teacher assistant with writing developmentally appropriate observations to assess children’s development according to timelines.
