Hiring: Packaging Engineer II – Medical Device
Location: North Haven, CT (100% Onsite)
Duration: 9 months
Type: W2 Contract
We are looking for a Packaging Engineer II to support validation and qualification of new packaging materials for absorbable suture products in a regulated medical device environment.
Key Skills Required:
Packaging Engineering experience
Process Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ)
Process Development & Validation Lifecycle
Equipment Qualification (IQ)
DOE using Minitab
Familiarity with Cognex & Keyence Vision Inspection Systems
SOP Development & Change Control
Medical Device industry experience preferred.
Nice to Have:
FDA 21 CFR Part 820, EU MDR (2017/745)
ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 60601
Strong documentation and cross-functional communication skills
Education: BS/MS in Packaging, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
Experience: 3–5 years.
